Bags

So, this is the last week of school and all. Hooray!

I heard that we weren't allowed to bring our bookbags to school on the last week, and so I didn't. I also switched my lunch carrying thing from a lunch box to a small messenger bag. Apparently, when they said bags not allowed, they meant no form of a bag is allowed. So, they had two people at the front checking people for bags and taking them.So the lines were longer then ones in an airport terminal!

After waiting twenty minutes, one of the people (who was the principal) checked my bag. All that was in there was a pack of gum, a sandwich, pencils, and a water bottle. She placed a name tag with my name on it and threw it into a pile of other bags then did the same to another girl's lunchbox. That didn't throw me over the edge, but what did what that they weren't checking any other entry way and letting some other kids have their bags after checking them.

Anyway, today I went in with a raincoat that had pockets big enough to hide my sandwich and my pencils and markers. I thought it was interesting that they did check me. I mean. there's more then enough space to hide a handgun in one of the pockets. At least it's the last week.
